Found A Trip to Moscow
Good evening folks! I found a cruise trip last time from Germany to St. Petersburg and Moscow in Russia. That was quite a good deal but me and my friend will go to another European cities for sightseeing this coming summer season. I am also asking if European Union citizens don't need to apply a visa for Russia if ever we will be traveling there next time. Thanks to Visalink-Russia for providing the information about Russian visa. If you are a foreign national visiting this country for tourist travel and business trips, don't forget that you need a visa to Russia. You can try to visit Visalink because they offer help and support for a Russian visa online. With the help of your internet and computer, you can apply for a Russian visa online without the hassle of traveling to any travel agency or Russian embassy for a visa application. Visalink is there to assist you for your Russian visa needs. I wish to visit Russia in the near future. I know they also have a lot of interesting sights to see.

I wish to Visit Romania
There are still a lot of Europe countries that I wish to visit. Time to time when finances are available, I know I can visit these countries in Europe in the future. One of the countries that is on my list is Romania. It is a country located in Southeastern and Central Europe, North of the Balkan Peninsula, on the Lower Danube, within and outside the Carpathian arch, bordering on the Black Sea. While searching over it on the net, I was redirected to a gay Romania site. Talking about gay and homosexual, I saw a TV program about these kind of people and how they live in this world. I don't judge these people for who they are. It is their lives and they have the freedom to express themselves. I even have some cousins who are also gays and I accept them for who they are. In fact I admire these people who are courageous enough to face the challenges of living this kind of life. I guess most of you heard about Robby Rosa who now publicly announced that he is also a gay. It is only a sort of acceptance for who you are. Actually the name of the blog I visited is DarkQ, a gay and lesbian community in Romania. I do welcome to meet them once I visit Romania in the future..wink! Feel free to visit their blog to see various scenes of this kind of lives in Romania.
I am also happy to announce that a Europe adventure with a friend will be coming soon this summer season. This will be another fun travel full of excitement and adventure.

My Euro Travel in Tower Bridge, London, England
It's time to travel again! This time we will visit London and I am sharing some pictures from Tower Bridge. Let me tell you guys, Tower Bridge is very much different from London Bridge. If you remember the song, "London bridge is falling down", I guess it's not. It is the Tower Bridge that is falling down. Here are the pictures taken during my trip to London last 2008.

Tower Bridge is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London, England, over the River Thames. It is close to the Tower of London, which gives it its name. It has become an iconic symbol of London.
The bridge consists of two towers which are tied together at the upper level by means of two horizontal walkways which are designed to withstand the horizontal forces exerted by the suspended sections of the bridge on the landward sides of the towers. The vertical component of the forces in the suspended sections and the vertical reactions of the two walkways are carried by the two robust towers. The bascule pivots and operating machinery are housed in the base of each tower. Its present colour dates from 1977 when it was painted red, white and blue for the Queen's Silver Jubilee. Originally it was painted a chocolate brown colour.
DESIGN
The bridge is 800 feet (244 m) in length with two towers each 213 feet (65 m) high, built on piers. The central span of 200 feet (61 m) between the towers is split into two equal bascules or leaves, which can be raised to an angle of 83 degrees to allow river traffic to pass. The bascules, weighing over 1,000 tons each, are counterbalanced to minimize the force required and allow raising in five minutes.
The two side-spans are suspension bridges, each 270 feet (82 m) long, with the suspension rods anchored both at the abutments and through rods contained within the bridge's upper walkways. The pedestrian walkways are 143 feet (44 m) above the river at high tide. more infos here

Never forget to visit this famous landmark of Nuremberg once you visit this city.
Iceland volcano sends new tremors, lower ash cloud
REYKJAVIK (Reuters) – The erupting volcano in Iceland sent new tremors on Monday, but the ash plume which has caused air traffic chaos across Europe has dropped to a height of about 2 km (1.2 miles), the Meteorological Office said.
Ash production had fallen and Iceland's coast guard and scientists prepared to fly over the volcano in search of signs its crater was now producing lava, which could indicate the nature of the eruption was changing.
"The situation is definitely better than it was particularly on Saturday, which was a difficult day for us due to heavy ash fall just south of the volcano," said Urdur Gudmundsdottir, a spokeswoman at the foreign ministry.
The appearance of lava could suggest the eruption was moving into a less explosive phase, possibly a good sign for thousands of travelers who have been stranded at airport across Europe for the past five days because countries have closed their airspace over safety fears.

Regensburg, Bavaria in Germany
Back to my main topic about sightseeing in Regensburg in Bavaria, Germany. We went again to this city around two weeks ago. One of the sights we pass-by is the Goliath house. We also took a walk at the famous and historical Stone Bridge. I wish I can go walking and sightseeing in different cities in Europe so that I don't need to take a look at Clinicallix reviews. When I have time, I might also visit this site to read some reviews. I am taking a short break now. Feel free to browse my Europe travel pictures by clicking the categories in my side bar.

EU to resume limited air traffic Tuesday
BRUSSELS – European officials carved up the sky Monday, creating three zones to more quickly break the flight deadlock caused by volcanic ash flowing from Iceland over Europe. Many more flights will be able to take off on Tuesday, the bloc said.
European countries can resume airline traffic in designated "caution zones" where the threat of ash is considered less dangerous, French officials said after a meeting of the bloc's 27 transport ministers.
Under the accord, one area — defined by the European air traffic control agency Eurocontrol — will remain entirely off limits to flights. Another area will be open to all flights and a third area will be a caution zone in which some flights will be allowed.
Jean-Louis Borloo, the No. 2 French Cabinet official, said flights in the caution zone will be "very secure" with many tests to make sure jet engines are not damaged by ash.
EU Transport Commissioner Siim Kallas said after a videoconference with EU transport ministers and industry officials that "the decision increases air space available to air traffic. This is the final outcome."

Lord Mayor's Show in London, England
My friend called it last time Lord Mayor's Parade. Others named it Lord Mayor's Show. As long as it means the same celebration and I had a wonderful time watching this event, it really does not matter how it is called. It was raining very hard as we were on our way to witness this parade. I am very happy that once in my life I was there and was able to experience one of London's historical event, the Lord Mayor's Show. Here are some pictures I took when I visit London last 2008
the costumes of the participants are quite interesting and the horse carriages brought more attention to the watchers of this historical event. I believed, I am lucky to be there!
The Lord Mayor's Show is one of the longest established and best known annual events in London which dates back to 1535. The Lord Mayor in question is that of the City of London, the historic centre of London that is now the metropolis's financial district, informally known as the Square Mile. A new Lord Mayor is appointed every year and the public parade that is made of his inauguration reflects the fact that this was once one of the most prominent offices in England. The ancient position of Lord Mayor of the City of London has a role in the Square Mile, whilst the Mayor of London (which has existed only since 2000) is a different individual entirely, namely the elected head of the Greater London Authority.
The event is a street parade which in its modern form is a fairly light-hearted combination of traditional British pageantry and elements of carnival. On the day after being sworn in, the Lord Mayor and several others participate in a procession from the City of London to the Royal Courts of Justice in the City of Westminster, where the Lord Mayor swears his allegiance to the Crown.

Visit to Gut Aiderbichl in Austria
I am just done watching a very informative program in a German television. It was quite interesting that I watched it until it is over. Let's go and travel again! This time I am bringing you in Gut Aiderbichl, Austria. This place is an animal sanctuary where you can find some animals from horses, to wild pigs, ponies, cows, sheep and a lot more. I am not so sure if all animals here have some sort of pet beds. I also can't imagine how those animals survive even in the very cold winter time. It was a nice trip we experienced last time in this place seeing animals of some kinds. I still wish to visit it next time. Here is my picture taken during our trip last November 2008.

European Airport Transfers
Weekend is almost over again. I have quite a great one after doing some stuffs in the house this weekend. I also mentioned in one of my posts last month that a friend from the United States will be visiting us this coming summer. She want to travel to different European cities and she is quite excited about it. I guess I am traveling with her too. Since we will be visiting some European cities, we are also slowly searching for cheap plane tickets, hotels and bus transfers. We had been searching the internet for cheap European Airport Transfers who can possibly bring us from the airport to our hotel and vice versa. We are trying to optimize our expenses because there will be a lot of adventures that will happen this coming summer.
Don't you know that you can already book your airport transfers in advance? I thought you can only book plane tickets and hotel in advance but now there are already travel agencies or companies where you can book in advance shuttle services. I guess doing so will give you less stress and hassles especially if it is your first time to travel in a certain place or city. I would like to inform my friend about this and also about Shuttle Direct who provides transportation and shuttle services. I am quite excited with the coming Europe adventure this summer. of course, I will share our travel experiences after the trip. I am hoping that we can also find cheap hotels and flights during those travel times. I am off to bed now. Goodnight!

Dultfest in Regensburg, Bavaria, Germany
How about talking about German fairs and festivals this time. I have been to a lot of festivals in Germany. To name a few are the famous and biggest fair in the world which is Oktoberfest in Munich, Christkindlesmarkt in Nuremberg, Gäubodenvolksfest in Straubing, Landshuter Hochzeit in Landshut, Tillyfest in Breitenbrunn, Neumarkter Volksfest, and some other more.
This time, I am talking about Dultfest in Regensburg, a city in Bavaria, Germany. I am trying to find out what does Dult means but it seems that I cannot find its real meaning in English. Dultfest which is composed of two words, dult and fest in which Dult, I believed is simply a name given to this festival (fest in German). Regensburg is celebrating every year two Dultfest. One is called the Maidult which is celebrated every month of May. The other one is the Herbstdult which is celebrated during the month of September. The one that I witnessed last time was the Herbstdult.
We happened to visit Regenburg last May 2009 but we never bother going to the festival. I am hoping that we will visit Maidult next month. Maidult fun fair is considered to be one of the first big festival of the year in Bayern or Bavaria. Unlike Oktoberfest wherein beer consumption is very famous, Dultfest is considered to be a family fun festival. Here are some photos taken last year from Herbstdult in Regensburg.

Shopping at Hiendl in Regensburg, Germany
Weekend is here again. It seems that we are having a busy weekend. That is also the reason why I am online again. We had to drive to Neumarkt today to take care of some things especially bringing HB's laptop for repair. Yesterday we also drove to Neumarkt and proceeded to Regensburg to make some furniture shopping. I want to buy an office furniture but it seems that I can't find a place for it inside the house. I ended up buying a shrank with a lot of drawers where I can organize my small stuffs. Below is Hiendl, a huge furniture shop in Regensburg, Germany. They sell a lot of products for all your house needs from garden to kitchen, living room, baby's stuffs, office furniture, bathroom furniture and a lot more. Sad to say, HB is still not done in installing the shrank because some volts are missing. He already called the customer service in this store and they said they will send it as soon as possible. I hope so because the other room is in chaos right now with a lot of stuffs scattering around.
Polish President, Lech Kaczynski Died in Russia Jet Crash
This news had been aired couple of times over a German radio as we were on our way to Neumarkt, Bavaria, Germany until we drove back home. Polish President, his wife and other Polish leaders were dead in Russia jet crash. below are the excerpts of the news.

Reichstag Building in Berlin, Germany
This is quite ironic because I have been to the different places and capital cities in Europe but was never been in Berlin, Germany. The picture you see below is the Reichstag building in Berlin, Germany. It was taken by a friend during their visit to this city. It is one of the historical buildings in Germany where the parliament of the German Empire is housed called the Reichstag. I just told HB tonight if he can take a three day vacation to go with me in Berlin by the end of this month. I am not sure if there are Outer banks short sales going on in those days. HB told me that he cannot have a vacation leave until September. It means that I have to travel alone again this time if none of my friends also don't have time. I can't wait to visit Berlin and see the historical sights in this capital city of Germany.
The Reichstag building was made safe against the elements and partially refurbished in the 1960s, but no attempt at full restoration was made until after the reunification of Germany on October 3, 1990, when it underwent reconstruction led by internationally renowned architect Norman Foster. After its completion in 1999, it became the meeting place of the modern German parliament, the Bundestag.

My Euro Travel in Prague Castle, Czech Republic
Let's go travel again. I already shared some pictures from Prague in this blog before. I am not so sure if I already shared these pictures below. This time let's know a bit history of Prague Castle in Czech Republic. We had a trip there last September 2008. It was quite an interesting trip knowing the history of this castle and the different sights in this capital city of Czech Republic. I guess pictures tell a thousand words, so better browse down and see it.
The history of the castle stretches back to the 9th century (870). The first walled building was the church of Our Lady. The Basilica of Saint George and the Basilica of St. Vitus were founded in the first half of the 10th century. The first convent in Bohemia was founded in the castle, next to the church of St. George. A Romanesque palace was erected here during the 12th century. In the 14th century, under the reign of Charles IV the royal palace was rebuilt in Gothic style and the castle fortifications were strengthened. In place of rotunda and basilica of St. Vitus began building of a vast Gothic church, that have been completed almost six centuries later. During the Hussite Wars and the following decades the Castle was not inhabited. In 1485, King Ladislaus II Jagello began to rebuild the castle. The massive Vladislav Hall (built by Benedikt Rejt) was added to the Royal Palace. There were also built new defence towers on the northern side of the castle. A large fire in 1541 destroyed large parts of the castle. Under the Habsburgs some new buildings in renaissance style appeared here. Ferdinand I built Belvedere, summer palace for his wife Anne. Rudolph II used Prague Castle as his main residence. He founded the northern wing of the palace, with the Spanish Hall, where his precious artistic collections were exhibited. The Second Prague defenestration in 1618 began the Bohemian Revolt. During the subsequent wars the Castle was damaged and dilapidated. Many works from the collection of Rudolph II were looted by Swedes in 1648, in the course of the Thirty Years' War. The last major rebuilding of the castle was carried out by Queen Maria Theresa in the second half of the 18th century. Ferdinand V, after abdication in 1848, chose Prague Castle as his home. continue reading here

Off Topic Article
I guess it is time to share an off topic article here. When I was still in my elementary grade I was a fan of the famous group of singers from Puerto Rico named Menudo. I can still remember the names of some members like Robby Rosa, Charlie, Ricky Martin, Ray Reyes and Roy Rosello if I am not mistaken. I can't forgot this group because they once had a concert in the Philippines. I even had a group poster from them. My favorite one was Ricky Martin. I guess it was last week that I read an article about Ricky. Is Ricky Martin gay? Ricky himself admitted that he is a gay. I can't really believed that but I admired him having the courage to admit that he is a gay. I really don't know the full story until I read an article tonight about Ricky Martin at Web Articles. I just wish him good luck to his career.
Eiffel Tower in Paris, France
It is more than a year now since we had a visit in Paris, France. I guess I will be seeing this city again this summer. A friend had already booked our ticket for going there. Since I don't have a credit card, I just ask her to include me when she book her ticket. Of course she will be refunded when she comes and visit me here in Europe. Here is the famous landmark of Paris marching on that cloudy sky, the famous architecture Eiffel Tower.
I took this picture during our visit last March 2009..see also that embedded date in the picture.

Oslo Blog Gathering 2010
Before I took my vacation in the Philippines last year, I have been planning to attend this gathering of bloggers from all over the world. I was already very excited that time. But sometimes our plans just changed. A friend of mine from the US will be visiting us this summer in Germany and she already made the plan of the cities where she want to visit. Since she don't have enough time to travel she selected those cities where we will be visiting that is near Germany. Sad to say, Oslo is not on the list due to time frame problems. We will be visiting cities and countries that is on the peripheral of Germany.
I truly apologize Renny. I can't make it this time. But I know one day, I can visit Oslo and met fellow bloggers like you. Thanks a lot for the effort you exerted in planning for this gathering. Fellow bloggers around the world, if you are interested to attend Oslo Blog Gathering 2010, please visit RennyBA’s Terella blog for more information. Here is a little excerpts of this gathering;

Easter Decos in St. Ullrich Church, Hohenfels in Bavaria, Germany
Good day everyone! The month of April is finally here! Since it is Easter week, I would like to share these pictures taken in St. Ullrich Church, Hohenfels in Bavaria, Germany.
