Statue in Nuremberg, Germany

I finally had the chance to give you some updates. Let's begin with an image of the statue in the Old City of Nuremberg. I was trying to search online what is the particular name of this statue but it seems that I can't find its exact name. If you have to look closer to this statue these words in German were written on it, "Zerstören das Leben der Tod Lacht Hohn". There is something like a shield in front of it but I can't clearly read it also. It's time for me to apply my acne scar cream. I am still using one until now. This dark statue seems to depict death. I understand most of these words but I can't exactly put it into correct sentence. Zerstören means to destroy, Leben means lives, Tod means death, Lacht means laugh and Hohn is something like derision or mockery. Probably it means this way, "destroy the death of live laughs scornfully ". I will give you more information about this statue once I visit Nuremberg next time.

Nuremberg Castle in Bavaria, Germany

Nürnberger Burg or the Nuremberg castle is considered to be one of the main sights in Nuremberg, a city in Bavaria, Germany. This castle comprises three parts: the Emperor's buildings ("Kaiserburg"), the mostly built buildings of the rulers of Nuremberg ("Burggrafenburg"), and the buildings on the eastern side ("städtische Burganlage"). This castle is full of history. We already visited it twice. The last time we visited it was last month, April 2010. Even I see this castle for some time, I still wish to visit it once again in the future.
photo I took during our visit last April 2010.

Kaiserburg, the Imperial Castle in Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany

Let's go travel again! I am bringing you this time to the Imperial Castle in Nuremberg which is called Kaisersburg. I am quite confused now and found out in wikipedia that Imperial castle is only a part of the whole Nuremberg Castle which has three parts. I wish to clarify about this tomorrow. For now, simply enjoy watching the castle because I am slowly signing-off now. It is getting late again. I don't have time to browse for wrinkle cream reviews now which I suppose to do tonight. I just forgot it. Here are the photos HB took during our trip to the castle last weekend. More updates about this castle tomorrow.

Never forget to visit this famous landmark of Nuremberg once you visit this city.

Kaiserburg, The Castle in Nuernberg, Germany

This is the Imperial castle in Nuremberg or Nuernberg, Germany. Nuremberg Castle is located on a sandstone rock in the north of the historical city of Nuremberg, Germany. It comprises three parts: the Emperor's buildings ("Kaiserburg"), the mostly built buildings of the rulers of Nuremberg ("Burggrafenburg"), and the buildings on the eastern side ("städtische Burganlage"). The castle was damaged in the Second World War but then reconstructed; today it is one of the main landmarks in Nuremberg.

I visited this castle for the first time last December 2007 even though, I had been to Nuremberg for a couple of times already. It was freezing cold as we made a visit here!!
