Looking For Cheap Hotels in Paris, France

What a tiring day I had today. Despite of that I am still giving you a quick update before I sign-off tonight. I guess we are visiting Paris, France this time. Have you been there? If not just try to look at the image I posted here wherein you can see the Eiffel Tower in my background. I am just done browsing about cheap flights to Paris. I was already there last year but I will be visiting it again this coming August with a friend from the United States.

I received an email from my friend telling me that we still have to book a hotel in somewhere in Paris center. She told me that she is quite busy the past days. That is also the reason why I need to help her search a hotel for us to stay. I am also thinking if last minute accommodation is cheaper as booking earlier. That is also the reason why I stumbled at Lastminute.com.au awhile ago because I was browsing over the internet for cheap hotels in Paris. I found the site quite easy to navigate compared to the German ones I visited the past days.

I guess that is all for tonight. If you are also looking for last minute flights, feel free to visit this site. For sure you will find good deals in there. I want to tell my friend that I found a hotel in Paris for only AUD61.00 per night in this site. That is quite cheap for only around 42.00 Euros per night. I can't wait for August to come because it will be again another great adventure in Europe.

The O2 in London, England

I have here again another interesting architecture from London, England. This is the O2 which is a large entertainment district on the Greenwich peninsula in South East London, England. It is formerly called as the Millennium Dome. I took this image as I was in Canary Wharf in London. It is just across to this place. I was using a not so good camera that time. I wish to go back there again in the future. This time I might have with me a better lens camera and vga cable with audio. I never expect that I was able to view this interesting place in London. Thanks to my friends Rey and Joy for touring me here. Don't you know that an O2 Arena which is a multipurpose indoor arena is also located in this place and can host around 23,000 people? Imagine how huge it is! No wonder a lot of big events are held here. Just enjoy watching the image here.

Middle Age Spectacle in Velburg, Bavaria, Germany

That was a spectacular day last Sunday June 27, 2010 as we witnessed the Mittelalter Spektakel, German words for Middle Age Spectacle in Velburg, a municipality in Neumarkt Upper Palatinate in Bavaria, Germany. It is a three days program commemorating the 600th foundation anniversary of Velburg. The highlight of the program was the parade held last Sunday at 2:00PM. I will share more about this in my Travel and Explore Germany site hopefully this week. Here are some of the images I took during the festival.

One of the church model from Velburg.

Participants of the parade were wearing Middle Age Costumes. It was truly a successful event. Horses adorned with ornaments and carriages are also present during the parade.

The colourful Middle Age costumes are the highlights of the said Festzug or parade.

Looking for a Place to Stay During Your Vacation

Me and my friend have been looking for a place to stay during our incoming Europe adventure this coming summer. We have been searching for cheap flights, hotels and bus trips because we will be visiting a lot of European cities this time. I wish I can stay in one of the luxury phuket hotels in my next vacation but we will be touring Europe again this summer. Don't you know that looking for a place to stay when spending your vacation can sometimes be very difficult especially if you are considering your finances. But sometimes you can also treat yourselves especially if you are working too hard and wish to have a quite luxurious holiday.

This is a special post this time because I am featuring a luxury hotel in Phuket, Thailand. This is one of the places that I wish to visit in this country. That is also the reason why I just browsed Avista, a resort and spa in Kata, Phuket. As I entered a date sometime in October 2010 , I found out that the rates are quite reasonable. Imagine for only 3,500 THB which is around 87.00 Euros per night anytime in October of this year. That is quite cheap! I was even browsing a bed and breakfast room in Rome and I found some that cost from 70.00 to 100.00 Euros per night and the rooms are very small and without a lot of facilities.

With the luxury rooms that they have in Avista, for sure it is a cozy place to stay. The rooms are also huge and very relaxing because each has its own private balcony. Restaurants, pool bar, spa, gym, swimming pool and more are only some of their facilities. I guess this is quite a nice place to stay for a luxurious vacation. I wish to visit it one day. Don't forget to browse the places of interest which they are also providing if you want to have some sightseeing in Phuket. The picture here is my favorite room in Avista.

The Fountain in Trafalgar Square, London, England

I am here again to give you an update about my Europe Travel and Adventure. Sometimes I am thinking what to share and feature here. Finally, I decided to share about one of the famous squares in United Kingdom which is Trafalgar Square. I thought I can only see this place on travel catalogues but I was there last 2008. During our visit here, it was raining so hard that we could hardly take a good picture of this square. It was autumn in October 2008 when a friend accompanied and toured me here in London. I also read that Trafalgar Square ranks as the fourth most popular tourist attraction on Earth with more than fifteen million visitors a year. I therefore concluded that I am one of those lucky and happy tourists who had seen personally this famous attraction not only in United Kingdom but in the whole world as well.

Here is a picture I took during my visit. More images to come next time!

The Fountain in Trafalgar Square England..This was taken during my three weeks vacation in England.

The name commemorates the Battle of Trafalgar (1805), a British naval victory of the Napoleonic Wars. The original name was to have been "King William the Fourth's Square", but George Ledwell Taylor suggested the name "Trafalgar Square".

The northern area of the square had been the site of the King's Mews since the time of Edward I, while the southern end was the original Charing Cross, where the Strand from the City met Whitehall, coming north from Westminster. As the midpoint between these twin cities, Charing Cross is to this day considered the heart of London, from which all distances are measured.

In the 1820s the Prince Regent engaged the landscape architect John Nash to redevelop the area. Nash cleared the square as part of his Charing Cross Improvement Scheme. The present architecture of the square is due to Sir Charles Barry and was completed in 1845.

Altstadtfest in Neumarkt i.d. Oberpfalz, Germany

I already shared some images from this festival in my other sites. Feel free to browse them in my header. Altstadtfest comes from three German words alt, stadt and fest. These German words mean simultaneously in English Old, City and festival. In short Altstadtfest in my own understanding simply means Old City Festival. if I am not mistaken this fair is always celebrated in the month of June every year. The festival was quite interesting especially if you want fun. You can simply sit down in any of the stalls here and might want to enjoy a sip of beer while listening to the live band. One thing I love during this festival are the different foods and delicacies from other countries like Turkey, Greece, Brazilian, Italian, German of course, Chinese and some other more. I suppose you want to know where to buy apidexin cheapest after tasting and eating all the different delicacies that are available during this festival. I tried Italian pizza and hubby ate Chinese noodles during our visit here. Feel free to enjoy the pictures here. Don't forget to visit my other sites fro more images.
people surely had fun during the three-day Altstadtfest in Neumarkt last June 11-13, 2010.

My Euro Travel in London, England

Hello folks! It seems that I was away here for a week. I don't really know what to share here today but since I picked-up first this picture below, I have no choice but to post his image taken during my first ride in London Eye. Imagine going around London alone? Hubby said that I really don't have any fear travelling alone. Sometimes he is afraid of what will happen to me travelling alone. I believed that is the spirit of being adventurous in me and I have a strong faith of only thinking good and positive. Actually during my first visit in London, a friend accompanied me here and it was truly a great experience. The second time I came back here, I also met a couple who are my friends. Joy's husband was the brother of my classmate back in college and he also toured me in London. During my last day here, I was left alone because my friends had to go to work already. So here I am alone in London Eye. It is a great experience riding the biggest Ferris Wheel in Europe. Is this the biggest now? I guess so.
Alone in London Eye. You can see in the background the Big Ben, The Parliament, the River Thames and the different buildings in London...such a great experience!

United Kingdom visa requirements

I had been asked a lot of times already what are the visa requirements to enter United Kingdom. Some friends from social medias like friendster and facebook also asked me questions how much is the cost of a plane ticket in going to UK or any European Union countries. Some friends are also asking me where to get travel insurances to travel in any EU countries. I am not really an expert about this but I can share a little information about this. I would suggest that you can search it in Google or maybe visit the website of the country that you wish to visit in Europe. If you are traveling in a Schengen member state, you need to apply a visa to a member-country which will be be your main destination or your point of entry.

You can find some information about Schengen Visa here. You can also visit below URL address if you are from the Philippines who want to apply for a visa to UK.
http://ukinthephilippines.fco.gov.uk/en/visiting-uk/visas/

Below are also some information for UK Visa Requirements

"In July 2008, the UK announced the results of its first global review of those needs a visa to come to the UK against a set of strict criteria to determine the level of risk they pose to the UK in terms of illegal immigration, crime and security. The review would determine whether the nationals of 11 countries would require visas by the end of 2008, unless the countries in question take measures to reduce the perceived risk they pose to the UK. The new visa rules announced on 9 January 2009 require that the nationals of South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho and Bolivia to obtain a visa; only Venezuelan nationals traveling on electronic passports issued since 2007 may enter the UK without a visa; and the existing visa-free status for the nationals of Botswana, Brazil, Malaysia, Mauritius, Namibia and Trinidad and Tobago is maintained.

The following individuals can enter the United Kingdom without a visa:

As of right

* Citizens of European Union member states
* Citizens of non-EU member states of the European Economic Area (Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) and Switzerland
* British Nationals who do not have a right of abode in the United Kingdom of the following categories:
o British Overseas Territories citizens

o British Overseas citizens
